MICROBLADING

Q: How long does Microblading last?

A: Microblading is a semi-permanent treatment, therefore a regular touch-up is advised once every 12-18 months.

Q: Does it hurt?

A: With the numbing products we use at Brow Ambitions, this procedure is pain-free. it depends on your pain pressure tolerance. Clients with sensitive skin may feel a mild discomfort however completely bearable.

Q: What happens if I don’t keep up with my regular top up every year?

A: Microblading is a semi-permanent procedure, which means that the pigment naturally and gradually fades out. A colour refreshment is required every 12-18 months and if you decide to stop, depending on your skin type it may take around 2-3 years for the colour to disappear almost completely. 

Q: How long is the procedure?

A: The procedure could take up to two hours depending on every individual. The majority of this time is spend on the preparation which includes brow measurements, tidy up, deciding the shape and pigment colour …etc.

Q: Can I attend to my appointment with my friend/family?

A: For Health and safety reasons, no third party is allowed in our treatment room. However your family/friend is welcome to wait and relax in the waiting area.

Q: Can I have this procedure done before a party/special occasion? 

A: It is not advised to have this procedure done right before any kind of special occasion. The treated area will need to go through the healing process and a good after-care to achieve the desired look. No makeup can be applied on the treated area for at least 7 days. Contact us for advice.

Q: How should I wipe/wash my face after the procedure? 

A: No water is allowed on the treated area for 7 days. You can use a gentle face wipe/makeup remover avoiding the treated area.

Q: How long do the semi-permanent lashes last?

A: it all depends on how well you follow our after care advice and on your natural lash growth/shed. Our lash extensions last up to 6 weeks, however we recommend having regular infills done every 2-3 weeks!

Q: What is the difference between ‘Russian Volume Lashes’ and ‘Individual Eyelashes’?

A: With the individual eyelashes, the application is 1:1 extensions which means super natural and sparse result (mascara effect) where with Russian volume lashes the application is 2:1 or 3:1 …etc, which means more volume but thinner hairs … Russian Volume Lashes generally last longer than the individual lashes.
